Pinball Battle Neu-Ulm, Germany
Pinballcenter 5th Garage Battle on 16th April 2011
48 players started at the 5th Garage Battle. For the first time only German players were at the start. We hope that next time our European neighbors are represented again.
The tournament was managed by the tournament software by Marco Wopkes. In this system, two players play on one device. It's "only" for the win, the accumulated points have no influence on the outcome. Each round will be drawn, while the software calculates the player pairings so that no mating is repeated and every player plays at different pinball machines. The four best players compete in the finals against each other.
The final was contested at the Hardbody. This final match was very short, as the Hardbody is very fast and not very popular. He also has four flipper buttons for operation
Peter Schmidt won ahead of Robert von Keller, Rudi Mathes and Holger Schindler the final game.
